Good machine for peanut and chickpea sorting. The AI detection for aflatoxin-risk and discolored peanuts is reliable and the glass and stone removal gives us confidence for our retail supply contracts. The 480SMART model handles our daily production volume comfortably. We give 4 stars because the air consumption of 6.5 m³/min required us to upgrade our compressor before installation — an additional cost we had not budgeted for initially. NICPL provided good advance guidance and the machine performance since commissioning has been excellent.

The SMART AI performs well for rice and wheat sorting and the UHD imaging is clearly better than our previous machine. However as a newly launched product we experienced some software interface issues in the first two months that required remote updates from the MEYER team. NICPL's support was responsive and the issues were resolved, but they did cause some production disruption during that period. The machine now runs stably and sorting accuracy is good. Worth considering but buyers should be aware it is a newly launched product and initial software stability may need attention.
