The MASTER 4.0 PL sorts rice well and the online monitoring feature is useful for our quality team. However we found the initial setup and configuration for our specific local paddy variety took longer than expected — nearly three weeks before the AI efficiency management stabilized for our product. During this period output quality was inconsistent. Additionally the machine's digital control system has a learning curve for operators not familiar with advanced technology — our team needed about a month to operate it fully independently. NICPL's support during setup was available but could have been more hands-on during the first month. Good machine once fully configured but plan for a longer commissioning period than standard sorters.
