The Meyer CG.A Food Series is an AI-powered optical color sorter designed for nuts, pulses, seeds, grains, beans, and coffee. It accurately removes wormhole-damaged, moldy, discolored, broken, and insect-affected material, as well as foreign objects — and can even classify material by length, size, and shape.

The Maglev® 3.0 Ejector is a patented Meyer technology using magnetic levitation for non-contact, ultra-fast ejection. It operates at over 1,200 ejections per second with millisecond-level precision, meaning less good material is wasted during rejection and delicate products like cashews are handled gently without damage.

The CG.A's AI system analyzes color, shape, and defect patterns by comparing material against an extensive model library. It detects defects as small as 1–2 pixels. Over time, the system continuously learns and self-optimizes, improving sorting accuracy with every production run — especially useful for complex defects like internal wormholes.

The machine uses an ultra-high-speed HD imaging system that scans at 50,000 frames per second — capturing material up to 1,000 times slower than real time. Combined with multi-spectral vision covering visible light, infrared, and UV, it can identify objects as small as 0.0025 mm², ensuring defects invisible to the naked eye are caught and rejected.

Six models are available — 120CG.A, 240CG.A, 360CG.A, 480CG.A, 600CG.A, and 780CG.A — with power from 1.3 kW to 5.0 kW. Smaller models suit boutique or medium processors; the 600 and 780 models are ideal for large-scale industrial operations running high daily volumes.
